For 18 years, PODER has been a cornerstone of Austin's social justice community, working for environmental and economic justice and raising the profile and voices of communities of color in East Austin. To see more
about their terrific ongoing work, please visit

Tax deductible donations to keep PODER's doors open can be made online at www.poder-texas.org (click on the PayPal Donate Button) or mailed to PODER, P.O. Box 6237, Austin, TX, 78762.

While we're getting our new studio together we're broadcasting some of our favorite shows from days gone by.
As usual feel free to drop us a line at kpwr@riseup.net if you want to chat us up :)
i just recently found out that kpwr is off the air. i came to the website and it made me sad. good luck to everyone who's trying to bring it back. i say move the thing and start up again in the trailer! that's my completely ignorant of the situation advice.
